FULL MOON PICTURES and our favorite cult director, J.R. BOOKWALTER, unleash the terror of Lilith and her coven in WITCHOUSE II: BLOOD COVEN! This marks BOOKWALTER's much anticipated (and too long absence from) the director's chair, and what a welcome return it is!!! He serves us up a tasty treat of witches and acolytes in a tale of terror that makes us want to go digging in the dirt to stir up some witches of our own!! WITCHOUSE II: BLOOD COVEN is a wickedly delicious trek into the world of darkness and mayhem that could only come from J.R. BOOKWALTER and FULL MOON PICTURES! The scene opens from the lens of a camcorder (reminiscent of BOOKWALTER's earlier moviemaking career, oh yeah, and that other movie where the kids went into the woods and DIED!) and follows the path of two missing students and their last little "frolic" trip through the woods to have fun, but fun is not what they findÉ What's that out in the dark? Slice and dice and then no more! Four ancient bodies have been found in Covington County and Professor Sparrow (ALBRIGHT) must make a journey to the burial site with her students and do a little research. Who's bodies and why are they here? Pull some DNA samples and dig in the dirt a little. Find out who they are and get them properly buried so that a mall can built on the site. The local sheriff wants the whole deal dead and buried so the mall can go in as quickly as possible. They do not quite feel welcome. Research facilities are set up in a beautiful gothic mansion, and the team gets to work, yet not much can be found about the bodies. Due to the rich and dark past of Covington County they believe the bodies belong to witches, but they will not get much help from the locals who used to burn witches in the town square. Research is underway and DNA samples are ready to be taken. Sparrow cuts away at one of the skulls. Suddenly the bone cutter slips and slices into her fingers, giving Lilith her entrance back into the world. Sparrow's transformation begins with her eyes and mannerisms, which are not overlooked by her students or the local sheriff. The Team gets closer and closer to discovering the truth behind the four bodies. A meeting with the town historian provides the dark truth behind the town's history and the story of Lilith. A pact was made between the witch and the town to heal the sick, however Lilith and her coven were betrayed by the town and murdered. The possibility that these four bodies could be Lilith and her coven lead to a town investigation ala THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT. The team is not too thrilled to realize they are set up in the WITCHOUSE, the site of mass murder and vicious deeds. They head back to tell the rest of their crew about their findings, but Lilith is planning her return to power. She slams DNA into a team member via a syringe to the forehead! She sits perched upon the bed while her acolyte arises, eyes glowing red and wicked grin plastered upon his face. The WITCH is BACK! In true horror fashion, J.R. BOOKWALTER delivers with maximum impact the creepy and spine-tingling jumps that make Lilith and her acolytes come alive in a dark spooky house! The power is out, the phone is dead, the witch is on the loose and one by one the students are becoming her acolytes. Don't take too long in the WITCHOUSEÉ The camcorder battery is running low... Lights out! Will anyone make it out alive? Grab WITCHOUSE II: BLOOD COVEN at your local video store, http://www.tempevideo.com and http://www.fullmoonpictures.com NOW! PRODUCTION NOTES AhhhhÉ.. His first 35mm movie and beautifully orchestrated from start to finish! One cannot compare to the look and quality that film deliver and in BOOKWALTER's hands it becomes pure magic! He simply knows cinematic language better than most low-budget moviemakers and fully shows it off in WITCHOUSE II: BLOOD COVEN! Incredible sweeping imagery, wonderful use of color, great special effects and awesome action sequences!! No stranger to the low-budget movie world, J.R.
