Max Cerchi and Rounds Entertainment deliver up the goods with Carnage Road! Running in a similar vein as one of our favorite flicks, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Carnage Road dives headlong into the action with the legend of Quiltface! A dude so twisted he has faces sewn together across his entire head. Quiltface will track you down and will kill you if you don't check out Carnage Road! We open with a photographer shooting a lovely young lady at a dump of a place. The contrast the hot flesh against such a rugged backdrop makes for an exciting photo shoot. So hot and steamy that soon the camera is discarded and the two are all over each other, but they are not alone. Quiltface makes the slice and dice seen by sinking a machete deep into the girl's back. Now that we know Quiltface is for real, we are introduced to the gang on their way into the desert to snap photos for a class. The driver warns everyone about Quiltface, but it is all a laugh. No such thing or person could actually exist out here in the desert, yet we've seen the carnage ourselves! It's not long before Quiltface begins to make mincemeat out of them! Sliced and diced and put on iceÉerÉwell they are put into storage to state the very least! Pretty groovy arrangement of parts! Now the twist we liked is one we cannot reveal for it impacts the story fully through to the ending. For us it left behind the traditional TCM plotline and delved into something a little more refreshing and that's what we liked most! Excellent! Carnage Road is fun! Pure and simple! A refreshing twist on some old plotlines that warrants a look! Check it out from Rounds Entertainment! Production Notes Take TCM and put it in the desert and then twist it slightly and you have Carnage Road. Nice and sweet with a new killer on the loose in the form of Quiltface! Shot in what had to be HOT heat out in the Nevada desert, one has to tip their hat to everyone involved for pulling off a fun adventure (even if some of them don't quite make it out). The cast is tremendous! The cast makes this movie rock! On top of Max's direction and the photography, the cast really pulls you into the story! The sets are something to look at for sure! Wild creations in the desert that leave you feeling creeped out. The perfect slaughtering grounds! Carnage Road packs a lot of fun and is worth a look, especially for the twisted view on the old Legend of Quiltface! Make sure to check out Carnage Road from Rounds Entertainment! www.roundsent.com |
