Another winner from Cinamatrix Releasing!! DECAY is delivered to us courtesy of writer/director Jason Stephens and is an action packed crime adventure where the good guys are always so good and the bad guys are just as bad as they can be!!! Excellent movie that leaves room for plenty of twits and turns as the mafia, murder and drugs go spiraling out of control into a wild climax!!! The story follows the life of a rich dentist, Richard and his not so ordinary dream life. He has dealings with the mafia, hiding drugs and being paid off in "rent". Richard's father-in-law is part of the organized crime outfit and to top all else off, Richard's wife, Katherine, is having an affair with the local strip club owner! Now Richard knows about this, but doesn't really seem to care. Katherine herself is bored with the good life with Richard. He is dull and boring, she prefers to find comfort in the bar owner, Ronnie, and the bottom of a bottle. She'd love to run away with Ronnie, but she knows her father would never allow it to happen. Now if something were to happen to Richard, well then, that would pave the way for her and Ronnie to be together. Then there's the serial killer that's been stalking and murdering local young models. He has a thing for the hot girls on the TV. He kills models and actresses and goes too far when he murders one of Ronnie's girls, but this is a blessing in disguise for Ronnie. A chance to be rid of Richard. After Katherine comes in upset and wishing Richard dead, Ronnie makes a deal with the killer to knock off Richard. The plan appears to work well, but there are many factors he didn't consider. The mafia boss is mad! Where's his drugs? And the super private detective Jack Tate who is hot on the case. Then there are the police ready to make their move. Well, when these worlds collide it makes for one impressive showdown! DECAY is a great movie featuring wonderful performances and incredible story twists! PRODUCTION NOTES Bravo! Jason Stephens does a bang up job getting DECAY to the screen and with an excellent story that kept us glued 'til the end! Pretty intense action play and fun camera movement. Our biggest complaint was the sound in some spot. Just couldn't hear the audio, but they were short lived and the action really heats up when it's needed! Love the girls in the bar!! Great footage here folks!!! Dollar bills in hand and ready to go!! A few of the most excellent cast that we've seen in a few of the Cinematrix Releasing titles is here!! Christine Lydon and Raymond Storti! The remainder of the cast is excellent as well! The henchmen are wicked! The mafia boss in bad! The serial killer is a nut! Kudos to all! Dennis Devine was the cinematographer and music handled by Jonathan Price! Great camerawork and a cool score! Keep up the great work!! All of you!!!
