A distraught Serena (Stephanie Beaton) is ready to end it all, but the blasted gun won't go off! Her name is called out by an unseen entity. She must get it together and get out of the house like yesterday! The walls are smeared with bloody handprints and the sound begins as she makes her escape. The sound grows louder and the rush of energy leaps forth as something grabs her! Thus opens THE EVILMAKER and sets the tone for the horrors to come!!! Writer/Director/Producer John Bowker knows how to put the EVIL in EVILMAKER with this trip into nightmareland and back! Three days earlier Serena is back at home after leaving her cheating and abusive husband. Her best friend, Rachael, stops in for a visit and makes Serena get up and out of the house to have a little fun in her life! A few days on a small trip with her best friends to get her life back in order. The problem is that this trip is headed for disaster and fast! First the van breaks down , leaving the girls stranded in the middle of nowhere. They do happen upon a house at the end of a dead end road that seems like a nice place to stay. No people, no phone, and the presence of EVIL surrounding themÉwell at least they do have electricity. The EVIL makes itself known, but when the girls decide to leave the van is gone. Either sit by the roadside or back to the house for another night. Was it their imaginations or something real? Or does EVIL lurk around the house? The second night they unwind and party!! Drinking and dancing and unwinding, but EVIL rears its ugly head and the first of the girls is bloodsplattered then dragged away into thin air! The trail of blood leading away to the wall and ending without a trace! The third night is pure terror as EVIL comes for them! Can they survive this last night of absolute horror? Wicked fun with beautiful women and bad spirits to boot! John Bowker wrote, produced and directed this terror treat that delivers the goods as we get down and dirty into the dark for a killer ride! AND what a ride it is! Great camera setups and movement! We love to see the camera get into the action! All the great stuff we like to see in a movie! Outstanding job by the cast with a nod to leading lady Stephanie Beaton! Absolutely beautiful and wonderful! This is our first look at a Stephanie Beaton movie and we definitely want to see more! Our favorite parts are toward the end and it is truly a wonderful thing to see Stephanie wielding an ax with blood splattering her as she whacks away! AhhhhhÉ..
