Scrapbook is one intense ride that will leave you thinking about it long after the party is over. Eric Stanze delivers punch after mind-blowing punch in this look at the life of one sick dude! Tommy Biondo and Emily Haack both deliver incredible performances in sequences that will frankly disturb the hell out of anyone that witnesses them. Dive into the madness that is ScrapbookÉ We open with full carnage and the mood is established immediately through audio and imagery. Death would be the easy way out for our heroine, but then Scrapbook would be nothing. Stanze establishes the movie with stunning imagery and a look into the bad boy's childhood that provides an all-important set up of the nightmares to come. After Leonard's twisted sister and daddy get through with him, we jump fast forward to the current situation and victim (Clara) he has selected to help complete the story of his life, laid out in his scrapbook. Loaded with snapshots of his victims and penned by their own hands, he has created this monstrosity of a book that he believes will bring him fame. The rapes are brutal. The murders are brutal. The tortures are brutal. The survival is brutal. There is no other movie like Scrapbook. It is intense and non-stop real life horror that is based on true events. Leonard tells the tale of his life to the captive Clara. He is relentless and brutal, but she listens intently and lives through his abuse. She gathers the knowledge of his life into her own psyche to use against him. That is if he ever lets his guard downÉ Leonard is a master at this game and there is little chance of any escape. He's been at this for the past twelve years and building his book to be a powerful man. His book will bring fame and fortune in his eyes, but Clara knows it will only land him in the psycho ward. There is no salvation for the victim of these brutal crimes. Clara's continual disobedience results in brutal punishments time and time again, but Leonard's patience is wearing thin, yet she is getting to him. Will she be able to survive? Time is running short as she agrees to help complete the book. When it is finished, she will not be needed any longer. She must maintain her wits about her if she has any hope of beating Leonard at this game of life and death. Scrapbook is one twisted ride down the sickening life of a disturbed individual and his victim's torments. Laid out in pure, shocking realism, it will leave you cringing long after it's over. If you have the stomach for it, defiantly grab it now! It delivers the hardcore punches in rapid-fire succession! Production Notes Wow! Scrapbook leaves us stunned and amazed! The brutality displayed in the motion picture is right over the edge with a realism we have not seen in a long, long time! We must tip our hats to everyone involved in this production. The subject matter and shock of their ordeal is one to be commended. It takes a talented cast and crew to be able to deliver such brutality and carnage without going insane themselves. Unlike a straight out horror movie that is a rollercoaster ride and fun, Scrapbook rips out your guts and lays them right before your eyes! It delivers something you cannot find anywhere else. Those old lines where they have you repeat "It's only a movie, it's only a movie" work perfectly here. Eric Stanze. Hat's off to you. Tremendous direction and subject matter to tackle. This blows us away! Tommy Biondo. Our prayers and thoughts are with you and your friends and family. Tommy passed away before the final cut of Scrapbook was pieced together. He will be missed dearly from the independent movie scene. Our best is given to those loved ones left behind. Emily Haack. Simply amazing.
