Y2K opens up with slick digital effects that intros us into the storyline of the Year 2000 Computer Scare (remember that one folks!). A biotech lab is pushing the clock to solve their Y2K problem. Working hard up to midnight on that dreaded night, no one could be prepared for what happens! MAN! Does it ever happen too! The computer has a mind of it's own and needs to study those "intruders" in the building. It creates it's own monstrosities from DNA and cloning research it knows. Wicked buggers they are as well! The creations come forth and check out the human subjects without regard or consequence to their well being. It's like a child educating itself through what it has at its fingertips.
