TURNTABLES: THE MOVIE

Direct from writer, co-director and co-producer Fred Medick comes TURNTABLES: the movie that hits directly where it counts and makes one really think twice about their actions rather closely. Believe us (if you are a guy), you do not want to mess with Artemis as you'll likely find yourself lacking in a major area of your life!

TURNTABLES KICKS PURE AND SIMPLE!! Fred Medick has written one of the best short movies we've seen. Funny and makes you think. Fred along with co-directors Shane O'Connor and Danny Baldonado deliver the goods to the screen!

TURNTABLES opens on a couple listening to an album and starting to really get into the groove. It's funny how the girl's room is littered with a man's tastes of red hot women posters and how she really doesn't feel the guy needs to know her nameÉ

We cut to the main man Reese (Noah Bell) scratching out a rad tune on his turntable at the local record store. Now Reese is a hot techno DJ who has a thing for the opposite sex and he cannot get enough of it. So much so that openly checks out the chicks that cross his path and voices his sexual intentions out loud without care for their feelings.

In fact, he would sleep with any woman that crosses his path. He has no problem living off of his wealthy girlfriend while he chases other tail and womanizes behind her back.

But what Reese doesn't bargain for is an encounter with the Greek Goddess Artemis (Kristen Kakos). His womanizing has really caught up with him this time. He knows all to well what it is like to literally be inside a woman now!

The new Reese (Kate Duyn) must cope in his new existence and learn to live with this new role of life. The experiences are not what he expects and really give him a taste of his own medicine.

After a few drinks he will go home with anyoneÉwell in his new life role he does just that! The first guy he meets, ends up back at his place with an album on the turntable and the heat getting higher. Needless to say the experience makes us run for the mouthwash bottle if you know what we mean Truly a taste of his own medicine!!!!

Yet this is not the worst of his adventures! It's just the beginning!

Does Reese learn a lesson in all this? Will he become himself again? Check out TURNTABLES: the movie to find out!

This is a great short movie well worth checking out!

PRODUCTION NOTES

Awesome! Rad! TURNTABLES rocks the house! Fred Medick and team deliver a well-thought and power punched story based on the Greek myth of Tiresias!!

Excellent videography by Danny Baldonado! Crisp, clean shots that show the power of digital moviemaking!

Shane O'Connor delivers a kick as Reese's buddy Mike, who turns our to be ever bit as in need of punishment as Reese! You were a very, very bad boy!

Noah Bell is the womanizing Reese! Cool! Best scene is the end! Love the walk man!! (Check it out to see what we are talking about!)

Kate Duyn we love you!!! Excellent knockout performance as Reese as we know it! Sweeet!

Kristen Kakos we love you too!!! Beautiful Artemis! We worship you (so don't do to us what you did to Reese, ok?)!! We want to see more of your work!

Everyone involved did a killer job!! All acting is top notch!! Our hat's off to you all! From top to bottom great work!!

The coolest thing about TURNTABLES is the power it shows you can achieve! TURNTABLES is true independent moviemaking, self-financed and supported by local businesses in San Francisco!!!!

Dreams really do come true!!! (We just do not want the kind Artemis dishes out!)

AND check out the killer music score from Hieroglyphics, Dubtribe Sound System, DJ Pause, Symbosis and J-Boogies Dubtronic Science!!

Just be careful Artemis doesn't turn the tables on you!
