This movie is pure camp all the way. If you like cheesiness then you'll love this little piece of madness and mayhem as much as we did. It's simply pure fun, pure camp, pure cheesiness. Trailer trash Cindy (Kathryn Glass) must ward off evil vampires from her trailer park. After she learns about the evil and dispatches the beast, she moves on with her life and becomes a pledge to Alpha Beta Gamma Sorority House. at Malibu State College. Cindy joins Miffy, Ashley and Tamara as they all must endure the initiation set forth by Denise (Christine Lydon). Dee and Mary help Denise enforce the rules. AND what an initiation it is! From spankings to pies in the face, the girls must endure a relentless barrage of pranks to earn pledge points and become initiated. Lo and behold what should appear during all the hazing but a vampire in search of victims to call her own. A small, fun cat fight later and the vampires begin to multiply victim by victim. When a man is found in the presence of the initiates, punishment is due, but then there are all those pesky vampires to deal with. What's a poor trailer trash girl to do? Vampires of Sorority Row was written by Dennis Devine and directed by both Dennis Devine and Kathryn Glass. The cinematography looks good and there are plenty of creative camera moves and angels to supplement the funny happenings. I especially loved the John Carpenter HALLOWEEN tribute. Dennis Devine rounds out the editing with excellence. Jonathan Price provides the score which enhances the overall movie. Upbeat at the right moments. Campy and dark when its needed. Great job! The cast is superb. Everyone adds to the flavor and give over the top performances that looked like a lot of fun to do. Kathryn Glass as Cindy gives us a strong leading lady who can overcome all odds. Christine Lydon as Denise is the definite ruler of the house. Rita Fiora as Dee is the dominate enforcer. Tatiana Truan as Mary literally kicks! Kathryn Rodgers as Miffy is ditzy to the max. Erika Gardener as Ashley worries to death (and must have a sore bum!). Amy Larion as Tamara defiantly drinks to excess. Christian Caitlin is John, the bowling champion of the world. Nuff said! AND we have to give kudos to Xany who brings vampirism to the sorority and Angelica Hayden who is the girl next door and provides us with an awesome closing title song.
